Men in black pc game download

Men in Black in a nutshell is very similar to Resident Evil with its fixed camera angles, pre-rendered backgrounds, tank-like movements, spooky atmosphere and puzzle elements. There are three characters to choose from Agent J, Agent K and Agent L and aside from the first level, players have the option to play as any of the MIB agents in the other levels.

Though the agents have no differences in them in terms of strength and special abilities, the conversations between them and other game characters are different each time. The MIB Headquarters is the main area in the game and it is where you select which MIB agent to play as, the weapons for that particular level and a shooting range to test your shooting skills.

Cutscenes are plentiful and they are represented as animated comic strips. There are no quick save options in the game but players can save anytime they want by using the save option in the menu screen. There are assortment of weapons to choose from and for the most part, they are only useful at certain times only.

Bullets are limited and it is important to use them wisely. The MIB agents can also use their fists and kicks to perform melee attacks. The puzzle elements are mostly through trial-and-error, knowing which item to use to unlock a door, finding the secret passage and defusing bombs. FBI agent James Darrel Edwards investigates a bomb threat in a building and after defusing it, he pursues the bomber at a rooftop. While in most games it's generally cool to shoot the "bad" commandos, the mutants from space and the strange sea creatures, I found it to be in bad taste that in order to gain some cool stuff in this game, you need to shoot a store keeper who's just doing his job, or a priest who is asking you to respect the dead.

I did find one part of this game to hold my attention and be enjoyable, and that was the target shooting gallery. I had a great time trying out new weapons, and even though it took me a while to learn that not every target was supposed to be shot at, I did manage to persevere and actually scored quite well. Men In Black has some pretty cool ideas for environments, which makes it all the more sad that they come off as being rather "cheesy.

I only wish that I had been allowed to explore and see some of the areas that beckoned to be acknowledged. Too bad that wasn't part of the master plan; it would have added a lot to the game! Part of the problem I found was that the angles at which you were looking at the scenery didn't always coincide with your success in shooting. In one part of the game, I was on a dirt road when some guys came at me with guns blazing. I had a hard time killing them because I was looking down and my perspective was screwed up.

So while I was trying to hit them I generally missed, although their perspective must have been fine because they killed me a number of times. It also wasn't easy to get used to the way the scenery would switch abruptly from a distanced view to a close-up. This would usually happen when you moved forward, but if you stepped backward again to avoid somebody or to see something better you would be swept to the other view in a dizzying fashion.

The audio portion of this game was passable, but nothing spectacular. While the background music seemed to fit in well with each environment, I found that it became a bit annoying and intrusive after a while. The sound effects appeared to match for the most part the actions that were being taken at that time, i. The documentation for this game seems to be well thought out and helpful.
