An American nuclear aircraft carrier and its crew are caught in a classic dilemma when a supernatural storm sends them back in time just before the Japanese assault on Pearl Harbor. The aircraft carrier, USS Nimitz goes through a strange storm and then realise it was a time warp as the year is and the Japanese are on their way to invade Pearl Harbour. Now the captain has a dilemma: either let history run its cause or change history forever and attack the Japanese fleet.

Two Japanese planes appear and blow up a small ship and two survivors and their pet dog are rescued and the planes are shot down. One of the pilots survives and he is taken on board which is not a good idea as he kills two of the crew and is then killed himself. The Captain takes the decision to attack the Japanese fleet but the storm reappears just as the attack commences and they end up back in the present day.
